July ➡️ Looking Forward

(Im going to skip the recap of the majority of July) - As soon as the stitches were taken out I was keen to get back to some racing.  I’ll be keeping it fairly local for a few weeks before heading over to France.

Last Wednesday I raced the Goodwood Open 10 Time Trial and finished 2nd, was really pleased with that considering the Junior gearing and my set backs in my training.

Then the following day I had fun racing the Cycleworks Moreton Road Race, a fun handicapped group race, finished 4th.

Next week is looking quite busy for me and I’m really looking forward to it, I’m doing the Castle Combe 10 mile TT on Wednesday, 2up Open TT on the P311 course Saturday afternoon and the Bath CC road race Sunday morning.

In a few weeks I’ll be racing Boucles de L’Oise, a National stage race in France and I’ll be guesting for the VCL Team. Everything I do before then will be great training for that event.

As I’ve missed the majority of the season from illness I’m looking to get as much in as I can at the end of the season. If anyone knows of any Junior Team guesting opportunities for International events in September & October please let me know, thank you.
