The 2025 Elite National Championships Road Race was a great race, the start list was stacked & to get an opportunity to race with that level was really exciting, it was a level I've not been able to race at before and I'm really proud to have proved I can be up there in the mix.

It was a hard day out on the bike, attacks were rolling left and right the entire day, but I managed to position well enough and ride hard enough on the climbs to keep myself towards the front where I needed to be in order to make the front split after the first hour. After roughly 4hrs 15 of racing I finished in the third group on the road, 31st, in a race where only 38 finished from 140 starters and most of those riders conti, pro and world tour.

Overview of the race: I'm happy with how it went, the progress I've made in a year since the last road championship is something that really puts a smile on my face.

Looking forward to the next block of racing
