Winter training has been going really well, I’ve worked really hard this winter to balance the training along side working part time and making sure I’ve had enough time for the recovery.

Thanks to The Steve Bernard Foundation for helping out with some equipment and overshoes to keep me pedalling through the winter.

For 2024 I’ll be racing for BournemouthCycleworks-VitecFire-FordCE

The New Forest Boxing Day TT was a great way to test the new skinsuit and see how the legs were feeling mid winter, a bonus to also take the win.

My first race of the season will hopefully be the Portsdown Classic on the 11th Feb and then a few days after I’ll be off to Lloret de Mar for my first training camp of the winter.
To say I can’t wait for some better weather and nicer roads to ride is an understatement. Really excited for the Camp !

Something else I’m really excited about is my new Team Road Bike !!! I’ll post some photos soon.  It’s currently being built, so hopefully I get to get out on it a few times before my first race.

After camp I’ve got a rough idea of a calendar for March & April, providing I can get a start at them all. I’ll be doing a mixture of Regional, National A & B Road Races and a few CTT events including the first round of the CTT Classic Series.
I’ll add more details about these races in my next blog.

I’m really grateful for all the support I’m receiving from my Team, Coach, Pedal Potential, a few new companies (& friends) which have got on board for the 2024 season.
This wouldn’t be possible without them and I can’t thank them all enough.
